LANCASHIRE – To apply in Lancashire please download an Older Person’s Application Form, or Disabled Person’s Application Form and return your application form and proof of address, age and/or disability to:

PLEASE DO NOT SEND ORIGINAL COPIES OF YOUR PROOF OF ADDRESS, AGE OR DISABILITY, AS THEY CANNOT BE RETURNED. ALL DOCUMENTS WILL BE DISPOSED OF SECURELY ONCE THE APPLICATION HAS BEEN PROCESSED.

Lancashire residents can also call the NoWcard Helpline on 0300 123 6737, customer service staff will part complete your application during the call and advise you of what proof of eligibility you will be required to send into the NoWcard office.

You should then send in copies of your proof of eligibility with a recent passport style/quality photograph quoting the reference number you have been given by the customer service staff.

CUMBRIA – Cumbria residents can apply at any of the County Librarys. Library staff will complete your application and take your photograph. There is no need to fill out an application form or provide a recent passport photograph. You will however still need to produce proof of address, proof of identity and proof of disability for a Disabled pass.

Cumbria County Council has added a discretionary concession for eligible disabled applicants. Please see link  Cumbria 24/7 for details and how to apply.

Library staff will ask for your telephone and NI number when they complete your application, neither of these are mandatory, but would be helpful. You will only be contacted by phone if there is a question relating to your application or your NoWcard. Note: Kirkby library does not have a facility to take photographs. You will need to apply at, Kendal Library, Stricklandgate, Kendal LA9 4PY.

Photo’s – Passport style photos can be obtained at Gr & Rd Taylor at 13-15 Market St, Kirkby Lonsdale, Carnforth LA6 2AU.
