We have County Councillor Phillippa Williamson to thank for the email Duncan and I received this morning. Phillippa kindly chased the officials at County Hall because they had not responded to our suggestions regarding a new bus timetable. We must continue to keep our fingers crossed.

Subject: RE: Improvement to bus services in the Lune Valley
Dear Mr Foster and Mr Keegan
Thank you for your email regarding improvements to bus services in the Lune Valley. I would like to apologise for not responding sooner but we have been liaising with local bus operators regarding the proposals you provided and for them to establish if there are any viable options or what the associated costs might be.
Once we have the information available it will be presented to the Cabinet Member for Highways and Transport and the Lead Member for Buses.

We have also received the following email from the Kirkby Lonsdale Town Clerk. It is nice to know that they support us in our cause.
