Roy’s Rib Ticklers #14

I was, this very afternoon, visited by Roy Williamson. Having spent 30 minutes discussing the conjugation of Latin verbs, and René Descartes “Discourse on Method, and his derivation of “Cogito Ergo Sum” (I think therefore I am), Roy presented me with his latest Rib Tickler. I include it here for your delectation:

Thank you for the flowers, she said
As she coyly smiled and bent her head.
I’m sorry for all the things I said last night,
For I was wrong and you were right.
Please forgive me!!
So I forgave her!
And as she slowly strolled, through the moonlight hours.
I said to myself “What bl**dy flowers!”.
